Iggy & Bogy - Artist Duo

Iggy Artists' Statement  Bogy
They create together for over a quarter of a century. Her art-historian background with his engineering skills helped them, working as a team, to shape compositions out of wood, stone, metal and glass which are aesthetically appealing and structurally sound.
Searching for symbolic or allegorical realisation of her imagination, she is treating the sculptural material as the repository of forms yearning for release, with added impression of exposed grain and colour of the material chosen for the composition.
In his creations, lines are logical and well balanced, with philosophical continuation of Nature, but by using technological means, he demands from the material unexpected flexibility. Their works of art can be appreciated from a distance and in close-up, giving the viewers a pleasure to explore variety of forms and meanings of thee-dimensionality.
For both of them the art gives an additional meaning to life beyond limits of daily struggle for survival. Their art is a discussion on purpose of existence and sharing their opinion with others.
